Microsoft Power Platform

Microsoft’s Power Platform is a set of low-code no-code tools used to build applications, automated workflows, AI bots, analyze data, and more. Power Platform incorporates inclusive and highly accessible technologies for everyday business use, including CoPilot, allowing users to create new end-to-end business solutions that deliver value to stakeholders and accelerate business growth.

The Power Platform Comes with 5 Powerful Applications:

Power Apps

A set of low-code tools used to rapidly build custom business applications. Some of the tools and benefits include a secure development environment, allowing your apps to be secured by Microsoft’s state-of-the-art security measures. Easy integrations to current business workflows. The cost of app ownership drops dramatically. AI capabilities within the apps and workflows, which we will touch on later with CoPilot.

Responsive app design that allows the apps to be run in the browser or on mobile. While its tools and development platform make it simple and quick to create business applications, it is not always suitable for heavy-duty applications. Proper examination of business processes & application requirements is needed to make the correct judgment on which type of app to build. This is where our MAS product can fill in any gaps.

Power Automate

No-code automation tool used to automate business processes and streamline repetitive tasks. Power Automate has over 1,000 connectors allowing flows to be connected to nearly all databases and other business applications. Guided recommendations allow users to create flows without having to guess what to automate. Its low-code AI builder helps enhance workflows and makes automation smarter.

AI builder also lets users create intuitive flows by embedding powerful language models to build unique scenarios for different business tasks. You can also train these models with your company’s data to teach your model how to do specific tasks. This enables AI models to learn from past examples and make accurate predictions or decisions in the future.

Power Virtual Agents

A tool used to build intelligent chatbots that engage conversationally with a company’s customers and employees. Bots can be created for many different use cases and can also be deployed across multiple digital channels, including websites, mobile apps, social media, Microsoft Teams, and more.

Power BI

Used as an analyzing tool, Power BI allows teams to discover useful, intelligent, and timely insights from data to help make informed business decisions. This tool captures real-time data from other tools in the Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Automate.

Power Pages

This allows users to create low-code, secure business websites. It supplies ready-made templates that deliver engaging site experiences. Power Pages also comes with tools for professional website developers. These tools add deeper functionalities and more advanced capabilities to the website. Also, Power Pages integrates with Microsoft Dataverse, allowing users to collect, manage, and store data from site visitors and share it with external audiences.

Microsoft Dataverse

Microsoft Dataverse is the backbone of the Power Platform that stores common data shared across multiple applications. It is used to securely store and manage data used by business applications. This provides cross-platform opportunities for the interaction and management of shared data in Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics 365, and standalone applications. Moreover, Dataverse empowers organizations to work with any type of data and any type of app and use the data within it to gain insights and drive business action. Dataverse includes a base set of data tables for typical scenarios, such as a table for “accounts”. Of course, you can create custom tables and populate them with your company’s data.

Microsoft Copilot is a productivity tool that combines the power of large language models (LLMs) with your organization’s data to enhance your work. Simply put, it’s your everyday AI companion. Your company now can integrate and leverage powerful AI tools into almost all your business processes. You can even use it as a standalone app. The financial hurdle to implementing AI will become a thing of the past as Microsoft continues to roll out CoPilot into its most used products and continues to make major improvements to the AI model.
